The Barkly West police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after one person was killed when a bakkie overturned on the R31 between Kimberley and Barkly West.

THE BARKLY West police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after one person was killed when a bakkie overturned on the R31 between Kimberley and Barkly West on Friday.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Sergio Kock said the fatal accident involving a Nissan NP300 happened close to Pniel Estate.

“The accident occurred on Friday morning and the male driver died on the scene. Both passengers – a female and a male – were taken to hospital for medical treatment,” said Kock.
