A 39-YEAR-old man was arrested for dealing in dagga by the Van Zylsrus SAPS on Sunday, January 2.
Kuruman SAPS spokesperson, Warrant Officer Mosimaneotsile Letsapa said the incident took place at around 9.30am when Constables Thyes and Mabilo received a tip from the community about a male suspect who was allegedly dealing in dagga.
“The two officials searched the suspect’s residence and confiscated 690 grams of dagga with an estimated street value of R6 900.”
Letsapa stated that the suspect was expected to appear in the Mothibistad Magistrates Court soon on a charge of dealing in dagga.
