It is believed that Amy Lee de Jager was reunited with her family in the early hours of this morning.
AFTER a night of anguish and hell, the De Jager family was reunited with their 6-year-old little girl Amy Lee after she was abducted outside of her school on Monday morning.
It is believed the little girl was separated from her mother when she was dropped off and grabbed by four black men driving a Toyota Fortuner.
It was further claimed that the kidnappers are demanded a R2 million ransom.
However, according to further news reports, it is uncertain whether this was paid or not.
Details around her nearly 24-hour abduction are still sketchy, but it is believed the four men are at large.
According to a family member she was dropped off in the street and a woman and her man heard her crying and rushed her to the police station. This was around 2 am this morning, the reports say.
It is believed Amy Lee was unharmed during this 19 hour ordeal, but is undergoing a medical examination.
Police on Tuesday confirmed that the six-year-old has been found.
“Amy was found this morning and she is undergoing a medical examination at a local hospital.
“The investigation into her disappearance and sudden reappearance is still on-going. It is our appeal that this investigation be allowed to take its course,” national police spokesperson Vishnu Naidoo
