‘’Since we want to be petty on social media we gotta be asking Mr After 9 what substances I’m on,’’ said Ndamase.
MIHLALI Ndamase has yet again stirred up some drama after going live on her Instagram and calling out her ex-boyfriend by referring to him as a “double adapter“, insinuating that he is bisexual.
Ndamase has since been accused of being homophobic after using gay slurs to refer to her ex-lover, businessman Leeroy Sidambe.
During the Instagram live, she alluded that Sidambe was a ‘’double adapter’’ and proceeded to call him ‘’Mr After 9’’ which sparked criticism from X users who called her homophobia out.
“Since we want to be petty on social media we gotta be asking Mr After 9 what substances I’m on,’’ said Ndamase.
Mihlali's queerphobia isn't a stage of grief or realisation. It is a disregard and de-humanisation of non-cisheterosexual people.
'Outing' people is queerphobic. Exposing someone's sexual identity to people who are likely to act on that information with violence, IS hatred.— Nov' (@NoLimitsNova) September 9, 2024
Trust a straight woman, especially the ones with "a lot of gay friends", to reveal her homophobia when a man disappoints her.
Ooh Mihlali, you are really a silly girl.

The bi/homophobia by miss ma'am? Wtf?
No, cause why is outing someone content creation and a "Kiki" moment. Especially when you know you're doing it so that they can get homophobic attacks? Oh baby, not you bringing your own downfall ✋🏾. In August, the YouTuber and Influencer posted on Instagram a picture showing bruises on her face, this led to her followers speculating that Sidambe had allegedly assaulted her.
In response, Sidambe released a statement defending himself from the abuse allegations. In the statement, he wrote that Ndamase had a long history of physically assaulting him and damaging his property, claiming she was under the influence of unnamed substances.
Following the statement, Ndamase retaliated against those accusations by posting a short video on YouTube, where she penned an open letter, opening up to her fans about the verbal, emotional and physical alleged abuse she experienced during their toxic relationship.
Their relationship was controversial from the very beginning as they started dating when Sidambe was still married to Mary-Jane Sidambe.
