FANS of Bruce Springsteen as well as the American singer-songwriter and guitarist’s legendary E Street Band will get a glimpse of their life behind the music in a new documentary.

“Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band” will premiere on Disney+ on October 25.

The production will offer an in-depth look at the creation of their iconic live performances as it shares fly-on-the-wall footage of band rehearsals and special moments backstage as well as hearing directly from Springsteen on the topic.

“Fans get the chance to experience professionally shot footage from the 2023-2024 tour for the first time ever while following the band through their one-of-a-kind preparation process, and onto performances for tens of thousands across continents,” a statement read.

The documentary film was directed by the “Hungry Heart’s” long time collaborator as well as Emmy and Grammy-Award-winner Thom Zimny.

It was produced by Springsteen as well as Zimny, Jon Landau, Adrienne Gerard and Sean Stuart.

Nicknamed The Boss, the acclaimed musician is one of the world’s best-selling artists.

During his six-decade career, has released a whopping 21 studio albums, most of which feature his E Street backing band, which comprises of Garry Tallent, Roy Bittan, Max Weinberg, Steven Van Zandt, Nils Lofgren and Patti Scialfa.

He has been lauded across the globe as an incomparable live performer who became rock ’n’ roll’s voice of the working class.

Springsteen has won 20 Grammy awards, an Oscar for Best Original Song in 1994 for “Streets of Philadelphia” from the film “Philadelphia” as well as a special Tony Award for his stripped-back one-man show, “Springsteen on Broadway”.

In March, he became the first foreigner to be inducted as a fellow of the UK’s Ivors Academy, for his impact on Britain’s cultural landscape.

Some of Springsteen’s career highlights include his 1975 breakthrough single, “Born to Run” as well as “The River” in 1980 as well as 1984’s “Born in the USA”, which went 15 times platinum in America.

Springsteen’s songs have also provided hits for other artists, such as Patti Smith’s “Because the Night”, Manfred Mann’s “Earth Band’s Blinded By the Light” and the Pointer Sisters’ “Fire”.

Along with his E Street backing band, Springsteen is still touring at the age of 74.
