This ground-breaking educational programme aims to enhance Grade 12 learners’ exam readiness across all 11 official written languages, covering each of the three language exam papers, for both Home Language and First Additional Language.

MATRICS across South Africa can now access the latest edition of AVBOB's acclaimed STEP 12 Examination Preparation Guides, completely free of charge.

The 2025 guides have been refined and updated based on feedback from the Department of Basic Education and educators, with key additions including:

Enhanced content: Additional examples in critical sections, more detailed answers and essay planning guidance, and enriched content on language aspects.

New features: A newly added section on creative writing with example topics and an expanded glossary of literary terms.

Comprehensive support: The guides cover all 11 official languages, with three guides per language, catering to both Home Language and First Additional Language subjects.

AVBOB encourages everyone to download, use, and distribute the guides freely.

What's the purpose of the programme?
