Free, updated exam prep guides now available for matrics

MATRICS across South Africa can now access the latest edition of AVBOB's acclaimed STEP 12 Examination Preparation Guides, completely free of charge.

The 2025 guides have been refined and updated based on feedback from the Department of Basic Education and educators, with key additions including:

Enhanced content: Additional examples in critical sections, more detailed answers and essay planning guidance, and enriched content on language aspects.

New features: A newly added section on creative writing with example topics and an expanded glossary of literary terms.

Comprehensive support: The guides cover all 11 official languages, with three guides per language, catering to both Home Language and First Additional Language subjects.

What's the purpose of the programme?

The STEP 12 programme, launched in 2022, aims to enhance Grade 12 learners' exam readiness through targeted examination preparation guides.

These guides focus on:

• Exam approach: Demystifying mark allocation and teaching essential time-management strategies.
• Confidence building: Empowering learners to select questions and plan answers with confidence.
• Practical skills: Developing skills through example questions and model answers.

The free, updated AVBOB STEP 12 Examination Preparation Guides are available for download at  www.avbobstep12.co.za.
