Actor Shia LaBeouf was arrested in the US city of
Savannah for disorderly behaviour on Saturday, but was later released
after paying a bond, US media has reported.

The 31-year-old actor was arrested early Saturday after approaching a
man and a local police officer in the southern US city asking for a
cigarette, police said in a statement.

When LaBeouf wasn’t given a cigarette he “became disorderly, using
profanities and vulgar language” the statement said. When he was told
to leave the area, he reportedly became aggressive towards the
officer.

The actor was later released after a 7,000 dollar bond was paid, the
Los Angeles Times said.

The actor, known for his roles in “Transformers” and “Fury” is in the
Savannah area filming his new movie, “The Peanut Butter Falcon,”
which also stars Dakota Johnson, the Times said.

In January, LaBeouf was arrested in New York and charged with
misdemeanour assault and harassment while performing at an art
installation critical of US President Donald Trump.
