MEMBERS of the Paballelo SAPS arrested two suspects on various charges after searching a tuck shop in connection with the illegal sale of liquor.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Omphile Masegela said the police members searched a tuck shop after receiving information about the alleged illegal sale of liquor on Tuesday.
“Upon searching the premises, alcohol to the value of R3,100 was found and confiscated. The 29-year-old suspect was also found to be an undocumented national who was also charged for resisting arrest,” said Masegela.
“The members continued to search another house and discovered dagga with an estimated street value of R32,438.”
Masegela said that a 23-year-old man was arrested and charged with dealing in dagga.
“Both suspects will appear in court soon.”
